Sara

Meet Sara - she has been a professional photographer for 7 years. She is a mother to her beautiful daughter Hannah. Aside from being a mom and taking pretty pictures, Sara loves to be in the kitchen baking bread and cooking gourmet meals for her family.  

She began her photography journey in 2008 when she set off to South America to volunteer with a non-profit.  Sara brought her first camera with me and fell in love with the way the photos took her back to the moments when she shot them. For several years Sara travelled all over the world working in developing countries and began her love of storytelling through photos.

Moving into wedding photography might seem like a complete 180, but the same way Sara learned to stand back and capture the moments, was something she felt had translated very well into developing her candid style.  Sarah loves to give direction when she is working with couples and then just step back and watch the magic unfold as they interact with each other. 

​

Sara considers herself to be a pretty chill person but once she is behind the camera and it’s crunch time for photos - she has no problem stepping up and directing.  

​

Being a part of the most special moments in a client's life is such a rewarding part of being a photographer.  Not only do your photos hold a special place in your heart but they continue to gain value over time as you move through life and pass them down to your children and grandchildren.
